Nancy Reagan said no. We said: let's think about it.

This navy long sleeve tee features a hand-embroidered red prohibition circle — the universal symbol of a firm stance — containing the words SAY PERHAPS TO DRUGS in white gothic lettering. The circle has a diagonal slash through it. The slash, presumably, is crossing out certainty itself.

It is the shirt of the philosopher. The pragmatist. The person at the party who, when asked a direct question, responds with "well, it depends." It is committed to ambivalence in a way that requires genuine conviction. The irony is fully intentional and stitched by hand.

The embroidery itself is a masterpiece of deadpan craft: a bold red circle, chunky and handmade-looking, surrounding white hand-stitched text in a slightly unruly gothic font that gives it the energy of a very principled zine from 1994. It sits on the left chest. It says what it says. It means what it means. Maybe.

The shirt is navy, long-sleeved, soft cotton jersey — the kind of simple base that goes with everything and offends no one, which makes the embroidery's stance on nuanced decision-making all the more effective. Tuck it into trousers. Wear it under a blazer. Let people read it twice in a meeting and watch their faces.

Hand-embroidered. One of a kind. Each circle slightly different, because even the embroidery isn't committing to a single outcome.
