Before my life as an embroidery artist, I spent a whopping 20 years in the nonprofit world (Yep, I wasn't always the proud curmudgeon you see before you now!). I believe that if you have the power to make change, it's your duty to do so. As a result, I have teamed up with some remarkable organizations over the years, and I couldn't be happier to support their ongoing missions.
One of these gems is is the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. I served on their Board of Directors once upon a time, and now, I'm thrilled to offer NYCGMC logo embroideries. The best part? 15% of the proceeds go right back to the Chorus. If you haven't checked out this fantastic group, seriously, what are you waiting for?
Then there's Hope for Haiti. Recently, I had the honor of contributing two items to their 2023 Celebration of Hope Gala: a stylish button-down shirt embroidered with a map of Haiti and their country motto in native French, and an 8-inch round piece to commemorate the event.
